Once a year, researchers presents their proposals in traditional architectures in Japan and decide which research gets awarded.
This year it is being held at Kyoto International Conference Center.
There are 5 periods each day and each period gathers researches which are in the same domain, such as computer vision, NLP, AI Ethics, etc. So, if you attend 1 period for let’s say, computer vision, you’ll get to listen to 3~4 researches on that theme. You don’t have to attend all the presentation, so you can freely go check out other domains whenever you want.
The presentation speed is fast, so if you want to participate someday, it’ll be better to first look up the researches beforehand.
